It is necessary that we have a better representation of students from all backgrounds at medical school and beyond, so I decided to start a small mentoring scheme to support prospective medical students with their applications.
This is a free year-long programme for students in Year 12 and above that will comprise of monthly meetings (can be more frequent than this if time permits), goal-setting and signposting resources and opportunities to strengthen each aspect of your application. These meetings will take place via the online platform that suits you most.
The only eligibility criteria is that you must have attended only non-selective state education, as determined by the UK government’s Department for Education (DfE), since the age of 11.
I am open to mentoring students regardless of their entry into medical school whether that be Year 12-13 students, gap year entrants or graduate entry medical applicants.
Applications are now closed
If you do not meet these criteria but are still interested in mentorship, please submit an enquiry here.
